Stray dogs picked up last month

We help owners who have lost their dogs in North Lanarkshire. All dogs picked up by our animal welfare officers will have their details published below. We promise to keep this page up to date.

Dogs are taken to our holding kennels. You can reclaim your dog by contacting Protective Services (telephone or contact form) or by enquiring at our offices.

If your dog has not been picked up by the council then you may want to contact Police Scotland as the uplift of stray dogs outwith office hours is their responsibility.

If your dog is not being held at

the holding kennels or by the police then you should contact the SSPCA Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Re-Homing Centre, as they may be able to help you.

Please note: All animals being claimed are subject to a claiming fee of £125 in the first instance. If your dog has been taken to the SSPCA then the charges may differ.
