Easy steps to take if your home and property is at risk
Ensure all windows to your property are secure
Close over all windows throughout your home.
Move garden furniture into sheds/garages
Remember to secure or move patio furniture and trampolines to sheltered areas and smaller items into garages and sheds.
Check your drains
Leaves and debris blocking drains around your house are the most likely cause of flash flooding in your home. A few minutes making sure your drains are clear, could make a big difference.
