St Joseph's Cemetery

Description

This cemetery on Dykehead Road, Airdrie was opened for interments around 1860 and covers 5.90 hectares; approximately 200 burials take place each year.

All lairs within our cemeteries are lawn style and can only be purchased at the time of burials and only in cemeteries where space permits. St Joseph's cemetery has no new lairs available. The purchase of a lair grants the holder the exclusive right to burial, there is no transfer of land ownership.

Our cemetery administration office is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and from 8.30am to 4.15pm on Fridays.

The office is closed on Public Holidays.
