Benhar Cemetery

Description

This cemetery on Benhar Road, Shotts was opened for interments in 1992 and covers 1.52 hectares; approximately 50 burials take place each year. 

All lairs within our cemeteries are lawn style and can only be purchased at the time of burials and only in cemeteries where space permits. Benhar cemetery has new lairs available.  The purchase of a lair grants the holder the exclusive right to burial, there is no transfer of land ownership.

Our cemetery administration office is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and from 8.30am to 4.15pm on Fridays.

The office is closed on Public Holidays.
