How to pay your rates bill

The simplest method for paying your non-domestic rates is by setting up a direct debit. Other payment methods available are online, phone, bank transfer or cheque. 

If you are having difficulty paying your non-domestic rates bill it is essential that you contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options. Failure to do so may result in legal action being taking to recover the debt.

Direct Debit

Direct Debit is an effective and easy way to pay your bills.

Call 01698 403213 and we will set this up for you. You will need your bank details. When this process is complete, a notice will be issued confirming your Direct Debit and your monthly instalments have been set up.

Alternatively, you can email businessrates@northlan.gov.uk for a mandate to be issued for completion

Direct Debit payment will be taken on 7th of each month.

One-off card payment

To make a payment over the phone, contact the payment hotline on 01698 403130.
