When is my bin emptied?

Service update

Due to public holidays, there will be no waste collections on:

  • Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 December
  • Wednesday 1 January and Thursday 2 January

If your kerbside waste and recycling collections are scheduled to take place on those dates then please see the table below for information on when you should present your bin for uplift.

Please present your bin by 7am on the morning of collection and remember that it may be collected at a different time from usual.

There will be no food/garden collections between Monday 23 December and Sunday 5 January.

Please do not present your brown bin for collection during this period, please wait until your first scheduled collection after 5 January.

Please note:

  • Your bin must be at the kerbside by 7am on collection day.
  • Each individual property is entitled to put one general waste bin out for collection.
  • Your bin lid must be closed.
  • We won't collect excess waste.
  • We collect on public holidays except Christmas and New Year. Look out for the festive message published in December for more information.
